Cain city State

Pride and Prejudice

"Are men the property of the state?"1

"I have seen the enemy and it is us." Pogo

Are we the enemy or is it our pride? Before we go any farther we must be willing to believe that we are wrong, that we may have been deceived or possibly have not got the whole Truth, the whole picture, clear or correct.

Let us agree to seek out the truth at all costs.

"It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth... Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and to provide for it." - Patrick Henry

As we said in our first post, "None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free." Johann W. Goethe

What does it mean to be free?

Since, the Tower of Babble fell the power of words to divide mankind has been demonstrated over and over. That division has both taken away power and rights of men and centralized that power in the hands of oppressors who often engage men in endless labor or service and repetitious bloody conflicts of needless and useless destruction.

These oppressive despots masquerading as Saviors and Soters are masters of words.

"Divide and conquer" is the motto of the masters of delusion. This is done most often with words.

What is more important the word, phrase or even the spelling of the word? Or is it the precept upon precept, the meaning, the essence, the soul and spirit of the author and his message, whether written or spoken?

Let us go beyond the letters and words and seek the heart of the matter, the meaning the truth. Let us not make gods of names and symbols but seek the essence of truth, virtue and justice. If we are to be free let us grant that same freedom we desire to our neighbor that he may also be our brother for we should do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

"We can only be as free as we are willing to let others be free." David Justice

When I first began this journey toward the truth decades ago I discovered that I made the greatest progress when I readily accepted the idea that I might be wrong. Once I was willing to let go of preconceived ideas and look at all things anew, like a child, I was free to receive new things and new ideas, in a new light.

Humility is a virtue that sets us free from the prison of our own pride and it costs us nothing but the lies and illusions etched in us by others. The power to engrave a lie on our hearts and minds is granted by our own unwillingness to forgive those who trespass against us with their cruelty and deceptions.

A secondary discovery, facilitated by the first, was the fact that words often did not mean what I thought they meant. This revelation at first only gave rise to more questions as I tore down the fallacies and facade of my own imagined reality with greater knowledge and understanding.

But without a clearing away of pretext and pretense, of coloring and covering of facts with falsehoods, there was going to be no room to rebuild a perception of reality based on solid truths.

Just by looking in my own Father's Black's Law Dictionary Third Edition, page 1734, I discovered that a legal title does not include ownership. If you have a 'legal title' to anything you do not own the right to use it. That is the meaning of the word and that is the law. You simply do not own your car, your house or anything to which you claim to have a 'legal title' to. It is not yours. It belongs to someone else by definition.

You don't believe it? I know it is hard to accept.

It is very easy to prove or disprove.

A legal title is "one which is complete and perfect so far as regards the apparent right of ownership and possession, but which carries no beneficial interest in the property, another person being equitably entitled thereto; in either case, the antithesis of 'equitable title.'"2

Until that point in my life I thought if you said you had a legal title to something that meant you owned it. When you say you have a legal title you are actually saying you do not own the beneficial interest of the thing in question.

Still not convinced? Maybe you have to look up some more words.

If a legal title does not include a right to the beneficial interest then it does not include a right to the "profit, benefit, or advantage resulting from a contract," nor does it include "the ownership of an estate." After all, a beneficial interest is "distinct from the legal ownership."3

In the simplest of terms a legal title only appears to be a right to ownership but it is not the "ownership of an estate."

There is one more word to look at to seal this point.

An equitable title as opposed to a legal title "is a right in the party" rather than only appearing to be a right. More important it is "the beneficial interest of one person whom equity regards as the real owner, although the legal title is vested in another."4

The legal title holder is not the real owner as the law sees it. Someone else owns it.

For most people this is a tremendous shock and they simply cannot hear it or wont here it.

There are many other words like lawful, employ, citizen, marriage, conversion, republic, democracy... The list goes on. That list is to long to be addressed properly in these short messages and they do not answer the question of what is the system based on the "perfect law of liberty". It only tells you what that system is not.

The Covenants of the gods study series:
Law vs. Legal
Employ vs. Enslaved
Citizen vs. Citizen
Marriage vs. Matrimony
Republic Vs. Democracy

You can find these issues addressed in the book, The Covenants of the gods.

They do address a question that has been around since Cain and Able. A question that arose with Cain's first city State, with Nimrod's Babylon, with Pharoah's treasure cities and even with Caesar's Rome.

"Are men the property of the state? Or are they free souls under God? This same battle continues throughout the world?"5

If man is the property of the State this would bring us to an even more important question.

What is Redemption?

"Redemption is deliverance from the power of an alien dominion and the enjoyment of the resulting freedom. It involves the idea of restoration to one who possesses a more fundamental right or interest. The best example of redemption in the Old Testament was the deliverance of the children of Israel from bondage, from the dominion of the alien power in Egypt."6

These are just some of the questions we will be discussing and hopefully answering in the days to come.

We ask you to forward these messages to as many people as you can. Give them a chance to agree or disagree, receive or reject.
